Mine came with the boat. Vetus 80 kgf
I use it all the time. It has it's own batteries and charger. 24v, two twelves in series. They are sort of in the way between the two engines
I read somewhere that you have to let a delta set a little longer before you back down on it. Put out more scope. I switched to 150' of chain and 100' ferr of line.
400 DB 2002
Because of the condition of my zincs when I was hauled last year , I want to hang a zinc over the side. Where can I attach it where it will pick up the ground?
Thanks
Hey you wizards, it was the relief valve and it was plumbed overboard. Thank you, thank you. what a great club this is!
It was buried just behind the big exhaust hose and I couldn't see it.
Unfortunately, now it won't stop dripping into the bilge. I'll have to replace it, but that's no big...
Hello,
Getting the boat ready for the season. I'm trying to commission the fresh water system. :smt021
The pumps will never prime. There seems to be a direct leak to an overboard discharge. At first I thought it was a leak into the bilge and a bilge pump was going on. But it is not a bilge...
Last year I had the oil pressure go to zero on my port engine. I shut it down . I was about 10 miles from home and ran at about 6 knots. It was the gauge of course. I didn't think about the shaft cooling issue, but I have not seen any problems to date. The auto pilot handled the steering.
Thanks guys,
I have one similar to Dancing Angels'. Problem is that it can accumulate water at certain lower speeds from the wake. Do you have that problem?
The NJ ones look very nice. Do you have some pics? I am curious as to the installation - where does the cable post go?
I believe it is more than hull size, it is also about hull shape. What you are seeing is the problem with a deep V and it is the case with my 40DB also. I am either running 7 -8 knots or up at around 23 knots or so. In between, it is just burning fuel trying to push the water out of the way...
The 40 DB has two banks of G-27 batteries plus one for the genset. The two banks are set up to be port and starboard systems respectively and also start the port and starboard engines repsectively.
As an old sailor, I do not like this set up. I would prefer dedicated engine start batteries...
Dan,
On my 40DB I replaced the CMD1 with the CMD5. The CMD1 had intermittent problems. Anyway, I had lousy reception with the 1 and now also with the 5. I climbed up to look at the antenna. It has seen better days. I am about to replace it.
BTW,Clarion has online product manuals.

I don't know this model, but I do own one of the St. Croix tip up davit systems. They are well made and the owner is very good with customer support. The installation docs left something to be desired, but be was very helpful.
