You'll love the 390! Cummins engines are great. Very reliable and rock steady in any sea conditions. Just take good care of them with preventative maintenance and run them around 80% load on a regular basis. The 390 is a great all around boat.
Had the same problem. Changed duckbills, toilet seals and bellows. Still cycled. Finally replaced the ball shaft which has 2 small o-rings on it. That fixed the problem!
I had a similar problem. After replacing duck bills, bellows, pressure switch. I then replaced ball, seals, and brass shaft in the toilet and that solved the problem.
I have a 2005 390 with Cummins QSB 5.9's. Boat was over propped with 21x23 props. Had to reduce pitch to 21x21 1/2 to get close to the Cummins fuel burn chart.
Hello,
Found a used Vessel View 1.5 unit and was wondering if it is plug and play with Diesel View harness? The dual plugs on the back look the same. Has anyone done this and if so your input would be appreciated.
I use Navionics on my Ipad almost exclusively for navigation. I don't believe that even the latest MFD's will give you the level of accurate and continuously updated chart and bottom information that Navionics gives you. I've never had an overheating issue and my Ipad is always easily readable...
