The holding tank hasn't overflowed to the filter since we've had it (about 2 1/2 yrs). It's a safe bet that the filter hasn't been replaced for a lot longer than that, perhaps never. I'm thinking that the filter charcoal has given up...
Ok, 280 experts: I noticed this weekend that each time when I run the VacuFlush, an odor :smt009, yes, is coming from the wet bar built-in cooler drain hole (right side of bar). Please tell me that this would be remedied with a vent filter replacement... as filter is several yrs old. Anyone...
Tom - did you just notice the switch light not on, or has it been like this since the blowers were replaced with the higher cfm units? Can you hear the blowers running at all (if you get down in the bilge & listen)?

Hello Everyone - My brother-in-law has a 2002 300 Sundancer with twin 6.2L; he needs help locating the fuel pump fuses.....they're listed in the wiring diagram, not clear of the location. Has anyone had to replace these? Thanks -
Hello Everyone: I searched to see if this was posted prior...how often do you folks lube the u-joints on your Alpha 1 outdrives and inspect the bellows? Do you pull the drives every time? My service dealer recommends every 50 hrs or once a season. Is that excessive?
Hello Everyone -
Congrats Jetmart.....folks across the way on our dock have a beautiful 34' Formula....
On a different note, I'm taking delivery of a trailer for our 280 in a week or so.....what is the opinion of folks for appropriate length of trailer tie downs that I'll need to buy? :smt017
I'm considering a trailer for our 280 (purchased without). Any opinions on channel vs. tube frame construction (for painted steel)? BTW, we do freshwater boating, no trips to salt water. Trailer will be used twice yearly, haul in/haul out.
Hello folks - Our 280 was new to us last year; among other basic maintenance, I'm planning on new water pump impellers this spring since I don't know when it was done last time. For freshwater-only 280's, how often have you changed the impellers? :smt017
I agree with winter blues...spring fever...Tonka Boater, where did you get that cool sun pad for the bow? The admiral would love it...
A motley crew on 9/24/11; air temp 90 deg, water 65 deg. That's me with the hat, admiral is to the left, with
