Dennis, The one at the helm does work and comes from the bus bar under the helm but no sign of the mysterious wire #590. Also, the 12 volt receptacle in cabin is 10ga wire (#590) and the helm is more like 12-14 ga. Russ

When it runs by holding down the start switch, what is the voltage being put out on the AC side?

Is your boat moored or on a trailer? If it's moored, is there any possibility the bilge pump is kicking on and drainig the battery?

What Pietro said. It helps support the weight with a outboard on the dingy. You use it instead of a rear glue on pad for the davits. Russ.
