We are working on a 2005 480DB. There is no power to the cockpit or bridge AC outlets. Obviously, an upstream GFCI breaker is tripped. We cannot find the danged thing anywhere. Can any of you help with its location ?

Thanks,

They hide them all over. In my 380 we have one inside the bread cabinet and one inside the cabinet under the sink

Frank in my 44, one in each head cabinet and one in the right hand cabinet above the sink. Those are the three I know of.

Frank, I can’t be of help with that model but can’t you get the Owners Manual online from Sea Ray. The one line is at the back of the electrical section and the GFCI physical location will be shown in the General Arrangement section. Just a thought....

I thought they discontinued the 480 DB in 2004? My 2005 500 Sedan Bridge has a GFI in the locker under the stairs to the bridge that seems to protect many receptacles. I'm not sure if it's the same on the 480.

Brian,

Thanks and it could be an '04. I'm just trying to help the mechanics at the marina get a transient going. He stopped in Panama City Beach to get some repairs handled on the way South and there is no power to the bridge or cockpit outlets. We all know that there must be an upstream GFCI tripped........we just cannot locate it.

Owners packet is not on the boat and the Sea Ray online resource does not have an '03-up owner's manual in it, and I've about gone blind trying to read this stuff on the dealers micro fiche.....no AC schematic or owners manual on the BBG Compass system either. There is a gray 15A GFCI shown as "other" parts on the parts list, but its location isn't shown on the drawing. That probably narrows it down to it being somewhere behind a door in the cockpit.

Guess we'll all start with fresh eyes Monday...........

Thanks guys,

f
