Thanks for all the great responses on head chemicals. Now my question is what to clean the bowl with that is tank friendly. The Admiral uses Lysol. I'm thinking that will kill the good bugs in the tank. What say you?

I just use a Clorox bathroom wipe and a gloved hand and then toss in the trash.

I’m also the only user of my head which makes it that much better to clean.

Thieves is a natural cleaner that won't hurt any of the moving parts.

You are correct that using a disinfectant will kill the good bacteria in your tank. I used Norflex to get mine in perfect shape and now have changed to this:https://www.amazon.com/Unique-Marin...d=1529629398&sr=8-3&keywords=Marine+Digest+It.

There is a toilet bowl cleaner that works well and “recharges” the holding tank treatment. Here it is:https://www.amazon.com/Unique-Toile...sr=8-11-spons&keywords=Marine+Digest+It&psc=1

We have been on this system for a couple of months and could not be happier. Cheap and easy and works!

Clean it real good for the last time and don’t use it anymore.

Throw a couple of urinal cakes in the bilge and have at it!!

Scrubbing Bubbles followed by a scrub brushing and good wipedown with paper shop rags from Home Depot. The rags go into the trash following their use.

Once again, noflex is your friend. Sprinkle it in the tank, let it dissolve, scrub with a brush and you will have the shiniest toilet on the dock.
