Port engine overheats after running into sand bar.

Thank you again - I am finally getting it. I ordered a new raw water pump impeller and housing. If I don't need it no big deal as I will eventually.

OH CRAP!!!

I made it to the boat today with my perfect game plan of flushing the cooling system and when I opened the engine hatch I was greeted with about a quart or more of oil in the engine bay. I find it hard to believe that the block could crack that easily. I shut the engine down within 5 seconds of the high temp alarm. Off to the pros tomorrow.
