Hi all, I have just moved up into a 2002 300DA and was wondering if anyone has upgraded the dual quicksilver throttles to newer technology. If so how hard was it and which throttles did you use as replacements.

I find that mine are very stiff, as well as when they are advanced forward together the engines are not exactly synced.

Thanks!

Probably the cables just need to be replaced and the unit adjusted - even if you went with new, the cables are likely the problem - I believe one is 17' and the other is 14' - a true upgrade would be Livorsi, but overkill on our boats

Ok, thanks for your reply. I will take a look and see if I can find the cable lengths on the cables and start with that first.
