So I just bought a 2004 420 with 450's and Need some help. I have read so many threads in this forum and I am so very impressed with everyone's knowledge.
As a new owner I want to change/fix/update the beast and need to know where I can source the following. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
1) Trim rings for cabin and cockpit lights (the silver ones under cap and in cockpit)
2) The rubber "boot" over the controls on the bow for the windlass
3) Planning to change all cabin and cockpit lights to LED (blue for the Cockpit) and nav lights
4) The "twist to open" chrome/stainless latches (cockpit fridge and floor, etc.)

5) These stickers:

6) The round cockpit A/C vent behind the captains chair-the white plastic one (sorry no pic)

Best thoughts pros/cons on Intelion 3000 satellite or go with Trac?.
I want to thank anyone in advance for whatever help you can give me. Thank you.

And one more...Stainless Bow Anchor suggestions. Size/source....thank you

Congrats on the new boat! For the lettering I used domedlettering.com They did a great job. For the anchor I'm a fan of Ultra. Pricey though. For my 460 the 60 lb. size is perfect. I recall the next size smaller is around 47 lb. That should work great for you. For the LED's check out marinebeam.com Best of luck!!

Thanks Mike so much! Will check both out.

For the rubber boot on the windlass controls, I bought new switches, I believe both were 50$ total. My switches were still working, so I believe I replaced the rubber boot and the plastic outside housing. I have a Quick windlass, so the parts were identical and interchangeable, not sure what windlass you have, but check your survey, my suveyor listed the make/model and serial number for every part on the boat if he could find it.

Let me start by saying you bought a great boat. I've owned mine for 12 years with no major issues It still out performs many new boats today. I was able to replace all bulbs on my boat (cabin white and cockpit blue) with LED and use the existing fixures. Purchased all bulbs from Amazon. As far as the satelite TV, both are good units. Get the brand that is offering the best deal. Based on my cruising we use a cellular card and Apple or Amazon fire TV. For local channels we use the terestrial antenna on the boat. Not sure if this is an option for you. Hope this helps.
