Hello Everyone!!

I'm new to the page and I was looking for some direction. I recently purchased a 2005 260 Sundancer. I was able to download the owner's manual for the boat online but it is a very Macro level. It always tells me to refer to the specific manual for the device I'm looking to work on such as the generator, HVAC system, bravo III drive etc. I was wondering if anyone has compiled all of the necessary manuals for my vessel? If anyone could help me out or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I was sent to this forum by Sea Ray customer support for assistance as they only archive their publications.

It's easy to do but you need to snap a few pictures of Model and S/N of equipment.

Engine and outdrive manuals are pretty easy to find ..... those S/N numbers should be listed on your engine(s) cover.

I've been doing the same for my 290 and have them in a drive linked to by signature below.

Over the years I have compiled several manuals also... if you can't find what your looking for PM your email address and I'll send it if I have it. Like Ducky says, need model/serial numbers.

Welcome! An hour on Google will get you all of the manuals you so desire. Very little of it will be Sea Ray. Looking at my "Sundancer" folder I have Sea Ray manuals and parts lists along with Westerbeke, Mercruiser, Velvet Drive, Sturdy, CruiseAir and a bunch of Raytheon. It's a hot mess of manuals...

Sea Ray furnishes all the operation and installation manuals for every vendor supplied item they install on a boat as a part of their manufacturing process. The manuals should be in the owner's packet which should have been included with the boat when you bought it. If the owner's packet is missing, then you will have to collect mfg, name, model and serial number offf everything and begin going to mfg websires downloading and printing manuals.

I likely have all you need. I have a file from when we had our 06 260DA. I believe the 05s were identical.

Google paired with make and model numbers is your friend.
Sea Ray makes the boat and some of the furnishings but someone else makes just about everything else mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hardware items.
I closed on my boat in early December. I was very lucky. The owners packet with printed manuals was on the boat so I took it home to look through it.
Even if you aren’t that lucky, there is still hope.
I got an iPad for Christmas that year. In the following winter cold snow days I spent some boat porn time on google and was able to find and download manuals for virtually everything on the boat.
Now the heavy and very bulky “owners packet” stays at home collecting dust and my iPad with all the manuals in iBooks is always with me when I’m on the boat.
