Hi, I'm a new boater, I bought a 1988 268 Sundancer and need to replace the wiper blades but have no idea how to find the correct part...they appear to screw on, so not like a cars wiper blades. I'd like to buy online if possible. Thanks.

We are a '98 and one of my wiper arms broke last month... My first call was to cust serv @ SeaRay and the 3-4 suppliers later I had my new wiper arm made by AFI/Marinco...

Amequipment.com is original equipment for some of the older boats. Check out the website then give them a call.

I need one too so thanks for posting this.

I found marinco blades on ebay. I took pics and measured mine to compare and was exact match. there seem to be many

Those should be available locally. I bought them a few times for my old boat from a local marine store a few blocks away from my dock.
Just bring them in and match them up.

Problem is mine didn't have one when I bought it. Just the arm so I have nothing to compare to...lol

They are the same blades that are used on buses and trucks, and trucking supply house will stock them and cheaper than a marine store.

You can purchase Anco series 52 wiper blades. They are stainless steel and are a direct replacement. Determine the length you need for example 20" and that will make the part number 52-20. Buy them on Amazon or Ebay. I just did my three on my boat. a pair of 20" 52-20 and one 14" 52-14 and they bolted right up.

Go to NAPA, those are common on busses and delivery trucks with flat windshields. Measure your old one and get the size you need. They are fairly cheap too.

Any idea what the length would be for one on a 1986 250? Mine didn't have one on it when I bought it. The boat is at the marina so I could measure it but if somebody here knows what it is then I will pick one up on the way there.

here's the deal: mr. king at busparts.com has the exact fit for the older blades. they are NOT anco. the proper replacement is a s/s straight blade with very hard rubber. he charges about $8 each. great guy. give him a call. for my 89 sundancer, i went with the 18" blades. they fit perfectly (a little longer than the originals, which is a good thing). if you want to go with the 14" direct replacement, a hacksaw will do the job. no problem.

The connector type on my 1988 Sea Ray 268 Sundancer is called a 1/4" Saddle and the blade was 22" long.
I ordered a couple TRICO 61-220 wiper blades off eBay for $10 each shipped. Apparently buses and dump trucks are the most common user of this blade.
