Anyone using NGK iridian spark plugs in their 8.1 Horizons? I usually like to stick with OEM stuff but have been reading the Delco's don't last as long as others. Any suggestions?

Yes some of us are using them (NGK TR55IX's), including myself. Mine have been in for nearly 3 years.

Yes.. Replaced over the winter. So far so good also. Runs a little smoother too.

Just installed my 2nd set of AC Delcos and have had no problems with them at all (6th season with this boat). I really only changed them b/c I was replacing manifolds and it's just so much easier to get them back in when the manifolds are off.
Almost always a promotion going on so they typically come to less than $3 per.

NGK TR55IX for me as well. Never had an issue with them so see no reason to change. Make sure you gap them correctly before installing.
