Out with the silly phone jack and in with the overly used USB plug. This was an easy install! Ordered the part from Imtra..#VM16292. Grabbed a foot of 16 GA. marine grade wire from my local electrician and about 15 minutes later it was charging my phone.

Doing mine next week all through the boat, where did you take the power from please?

The outlet next to it.

After you remove the phone jack, remove the outlet as well and the box comes out. Just fish it through the back of box into the back of the outlet white and black leads only. You will need 16 GA wire to make it fit, anything larger will not fit the new USB jack either.
Hope that helps.

Anyone know where I can order a new light cap. This is for the master shower light and it was broken when we bought the boat. Never really thought a lot about it until now. Thinking it was plastic and that the light bulb had melted it, I just removed it and shelved it. Turns out it is glass so it must have fallen at some point and the glass broke.

Any idea where to start looking??

This is not the cap but... the lumitec mirage led fixtures fit perfectly in the cutout and are much nicer.

Thanks, will let you know if it works, looks like a great modification to me.

Hi all,
Looking for our 460 technical masters on this one.

"Main Salon AC unit"

I was at the boat this weekend and also had the marina local AC service company there.

This issue I am having is the main salon unit is not sending a signal to the lake pump to turn on. The front bed room unit will.

The tech and I searched for the "230V trigger box" On the the front bed room the trigger box is right there with the AC unit under the bed. On the main salon unit it is not with the AC unit. We chased wires and could not find it.

Do any of you know where the " Trigger relay box" would be?

Thank you for the help.

Mine is also behind the AC electrical panel. It is a 3 station box that controls the pump relay. The relay system on my boat is 120v from the box next to the AC unit to the 3 station relay. The 220/240 line goes from the breaker switch to the AC unit. Maybe you will get lucky and it will just be a loose wire.

An easy test to find out if it is a bad station would be to swap wires with the forward AC and Salon AC to see if it triggers it.
Also, and I am not 100% certain on this, I think there was a fuse inside the relay pump housing for each station. again, not 100% on this, but check that out as well.

Hope that helps.

Thank you to the both of you . I will look there when at the boat next week.

Great idea - added to my list

I have a issue I've never experienced before, I went to start my 12kw Westerbeke after two weeks off the boat and it didn't even turn over! It worked fine two weeks ago. I've never seen a dedicated battery die so badly that there wasn't any juice. I'm wondering if there is a solenoid that blew causing no power to the gennie. Does anyone know off the top of their head if there is any "clunking" sound when turning on the generator battery switch similar to when you turn on the house battery switches? TIA!

Good morning everyone. Boats back in the water. So far all working good except ac pump. All breakers are on. All 3 a/CS turn on and compressors kick on, but no water coming out of boat. I am assuming pump is not working. Is there a relay somewhere. Thanks for any help. The admiral isn't going to be happy without ac

Are they staying on or stopping and you get an error code?
Try popping the cap on the sea strainer....could be a vapor lock (so to speak). It happens to me every now and then at launch. If water was left in it through the winter months, then you drop it back in the water it doesn’t want to flow Due to air bubble.
Hopefully that will take care of it!!

Thanks wolf. Not air locked. I didn't wait for a code I shut units off as I had no water coming out of the boat. I thought pump ran when ac ran. I just put 2 units on to see if I get a code.

The pump runs when the compressor kicks on and sucks the water in. The ac/heat can be on without it cycling heat or air and no water will come out. My apologies in advance if I am stating the obvious, but I had a friend doing the same thing...no water coming out but also no request by the thermostat for heat or air.

Compressors were all running. Still no water. And stupid me left electrical tester home. Heading home then will see if I have power going to pump if so then its pump not relay. . Thanks again wolf

I think you have a pump or pump power issue. Each of the units in our boats can turn on the pump individually so if you have all the units on and pump is not flowing I’m guessing it’s the pump or breaker.

It’s 240v so it’s easy to test in the engine room. It’s a march 5a pump for reference.

Same problem here....My forward ac and cockpit ac run fine but my salon ac will not get the water pump to turn on. What does the relay box look like behind the electric panel? What am I looking for? Thanks guys

It’s a white box with three 120v ac lines going into it. Cruisair label on it.
