"The River" by Garth Brooks

You know a dream is like a river Ever changin' as it flows
And a dreamer's just a vessel That must follow where it goes
Trying to learn from what's behind you And never knowing what's in store
Makes each day a constant battle Just to stay between the shores

And I will sail my vessel 'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination If I never try
So I will sail my vessel 'Til the river runs dry

Too many times we stand aside And let the waters slip away
'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow It has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline And say you're satisfied
Choose to chance the rapids And dare to dance the tide...

Same name for last 2 boats. Soul mates and sun mates so went with Sol Mates. We thought we were clever and original, but have seen other boats with the same name, so we're not.

Kismet - Persian origin for "it was meant to be" or "destiny". This 52 Sedan Bridge fell into my lap and had everything I was looking for then two days after I committed to purchase it, my 400DA sold - Kismet.

Our 2007 44DA

NeverLand

We came up with a few good ones since we first found her, but none fit and we were honestly struggling. Our finance lady was pushing us to get the paperwork done in time, but we just weren't happy with our options. Then we heard the song "Never Land" by Eli Young band for the first time. We looked at each other and knew that was it. Minutes later, she called to finalize our paperwork. "I NEED A NAME" she urged. And we both shouted NeverLand! Havent stopped grinning like idiots since. It's our mythical, magical, far away place that we escape to, to fuel our immortality. We'd prefer to never land from the high she brings us.

I flip houses.

I'll spare you guys the same old sappy story. In a nutshell we spent our honeymoon in Paris and love the city so the boat name has a certain nostalgia to it. And we've never seen another one, so ...

The girls, my wife, the dog, they are all brown Eyed girls, not original, but it 4 against 1.

My daughter's name.

My wife is Candi and my daughter, Cara (who loves Panda bears).

Our final list of names were...

iCandi
Cara Mia
Pandemonium

We settled on Cara Mia meaning "My Beloved", or "My Dear", much to my daughter's protest who wanted Pandemonium. However, Pandemonium will be used for a tender or jet ski.

Just finished the transom art work with the renaming ceremony set for Tuesday Morning. Final color selection to be done on-site at that time.

The two mermaids with blond hair represent my 2 beloved.

Our current both is our third, but we are saving Rubber Duckee Too 2 for our fourth. The name comes from a Mark Twin quote.

I'm a tax attorney/CPA hence Tax Holiday. The caricatures are for my wife and son. My nickname for my wife has always been Bunny and we call my six year-old son Monkey because he made monkey-like noises when he was an infant.

Boat.JPG Our boat's name goes back to the lasts boat which was "Rock a Little" in reference to a Stevie Nicks song. The Admiral is a huge fan. Current boat is "Rock a Little More" as it is a 34' instead of 23'.Boat.JPG ralwayne.jpg
