Put the boat in yesterday and all was good...at least for the 1/4 mile from the ramp to our slip...lol. Haven't been out other than that. Got my bumpers attached to the dock and got the boat tied up with all dock lines set. Got things organized in the boat, etc.

Couple of comments...bought a new prop over the winter. Looking closer at my old one it looks like it might have a slight bend in one of the fins but even the slow no wake 1/4 mile trip the boat felt much smoother than before. Could this be the new prop?

Also, replaced the impeller a few weeks ago and this was my first attempt. Happy to say that with 2 runs on the muffs and our short jaunt yesterday all seems fine so I must have done something right...lol.

Another thing that isn't so nice...we have a new dock neighbor. Very nice people. They have been at our marine for awhile but upgraded to a bigger boat and are now beside us. Still no problems with them being beside us. The problem is it is a 31' boat and now it blocks our view to the main waterway...lol. Still not a big deal but that boat seems massive beside ours. Its not a SR. I was on it last night and it has what seems like 3x the room ours does downstairs. Ugh...time to start shopping again.

My dock neighbor to the north just sold his massive Silverton fly bridge. It was like having an apartment building next door.

The view and feeling of space is unreal.

lol. Went out today for a few miles then anchored. Boat ran great. Seems much smoother now so I assume it is the new prop? Last year with the old 14.5x17 I could hit 34MPH and 3800RPM. Today with the new 15.75x15 I ran 37MPH at 4600RPM. I know 2" pitch shouldn't be that much RPM but now I'm thinking my old prop was just beat up too bad.

I launched Friday. After some good cleaning of the topside and interior, took her out for a good 40 mile run. Ran like a top.

Changed slips this year too. New slip is wider and now wide enough to run the dinghy between me and my new slip neighbor. Old slip only gave me about 2 to 3 feet between me and my neighbors 89 310DA. New neighbor on one side (2005 360DA) thanked me for having a smaller boat. There was a flybridge boat in my spot before. He likes not having an apartment building beside him (although I bet he will miss the shade!).

Went out today and rafted up with about 7 or 8 other boats for a few hours. Met a few new people too. The only problem was about 90* temps and no wind at all. Everyone had sweat pouring off their heads but it was still a great day. My son started a new job and only comes home Saturday night and goes back Sunday afternoon and spends much of that time with his girlfriend. He had today off so him and her spent the day on the boat with us.

So drank about 5 or 6 bottles of water on the boat, got home and drank 4 glasses of iced tea and 4 popsicles...lol. And have the AC cranked here.

A few people jumped in the river but I'm not much on river water, although I was pretty close to going in today...lol
