Let's discuss cockpit carpet / rug runners replacement

The Corinthian product I got gave me the option of using Velcro to keep it down instead of installing snaps. My boat never had snap in carpet.
They put the Velcro circles (about 1 1/2” diameter) every few feet around the edges. I had it all last season and it never moved.

They put the velcro on the back of the carpet they made for our steps to the bridge and works great!

The backing on mine is their original material. Sort of like a softer, short felt type. It dries very quickly. Absolutely no sign of mildew on the backing or the deck after a full season of washings.
It leaves no remnanats behind on the deck at all, and makes the product feel a bit cushioned when you walk on it.
I really like it.
When I ordered mine they didn’t have the style I went with available with the “Aqualoc” (?) yet. You could go with it on some styles, not sure what they were, but I get the sense that it would make the flooring sit a bit higher.
