This is a view of what our 38 looks like without the arch. I kinda like the look but not functional in the long run

lol i saw this on facebook. It's so deceiving because at first glance it looks like a 240 to me. Then you realize how massive it is

WEIRD! Looks like a huge "day boat". No blind spots that's for sure! Also one big tonneau cover at the end of the day and you'd be done covering it! I remember as a kid putting up the support poles under our old boats tonneau cover.

I thought the same thing. Reminds me of my old Celebrity. Then I realize it would dwarf said Celebrity.

Boat had a tilt arch when we bought it (one of the reasons we bought the boat.) The actuators did not work properly and when the marina tried to fix it (the one the broker was using ) they cracked the arch and put in the wrong replacement actuator. I negotiated to have the boat just fixed here but paid for by the company the created the problems. We installed the proper actuators yesterday and will be putting the arch back on today and hooking up a synchronizing box so that everything works proper. Will also have a handheld remote control that will operate along with a standard toggle switch

we have a cockpit cover we have been using and that thing is a bigger pain than putting up the isen glass and curtains

I totally called it - you can't get under that bridge! ha. The water is sooooo high.

I assume you're going to run sans-bimini's most of the time? I found the folding arch concept pretty non-user friendly on my 340 based on the fact that it cannot fold with the forward bimini supports installed. I hope you've found a slick solution for that conundrum....

working on a solution for the Bimini, Right now I have made some semi quick connects to pull and drop the bimini. I am working on a solution using sliding lock rails (like on sail boats) to just pull the pin up and slide the Bimini supports so they move away when i activate the arch here is the look after we finished the re install. Not a fan of the blue canvas so we will be replacing all canvas with tan color later on this summer. Slowly getting this boat to where we want it. We have only had it a few
