Bravo III Drives
First 2 places to look after ruling out the impeller, intake side of the heat exchanger, then intake hose coming from the drive through the transom. (Bravoitis) There is no strainer when water comes into the pump from the drive as is on inboards with thru hulls. Everything that gets sucked in gets trapped in the little holes that go through the exchanger. Take end cap off and inspect. If clogged up with little pieces of sea crap, will need to be cleaned. It is an easy do it yourself, just takes time. To help with diagnoses, first take boat out and record water pressures @ idle, 1200 and 3200 rpms. This will point to where the issue is - before the pump or after.
