When I take pics with my phone, they don't seem to get saved as jpegs. I think that the pics wind up somewhere in Google land and I have no idea how to upload them onto CSR. HELP!!

I just click upload file, from website, select the photo, then it uploads to the website, then you have to select thumbnail or full size. I have an iPhone, might be different.

Mine sometimes show up sideways in the thread after I upload them. Couldn’t figure out how to rotate them.

If you have an Android phone, you should be tying it to your Google account. The cell phone store people should set you up with one if you never had one before purchase. It's a good thing to do, that way EVERYthing is backed up. You can drop your phone in front of your prop and chew it up into a thousand pieces and never worry about losing information, just get another Android phone, sign into your Google account, and "restore" your data to the new phone. Give it a few minutes...PRESTO..all your apps/data/settings/picture/etc are back on your new phone. Any time you take a picture your phone should upload that pic to your Google account, it'll be at photos.google.com with all your other pics for the history of ever having an Android phone.

Similar to iPhones...except they go to your iCloud account. But same concept as above.

If I ever need a picture I know I took on my phone ...I don't need my phone to get it, I just point my Chrome browser on my PC to my Google account and there's my picture. Makes it easy to download to my PC and crop/whatever and upload to a forum.

another easy way is go to your phone or PC web browser...
go to postimage
upload your files to a specific folder
once uploaded you have option to post on forums
it will copy links to your phone
paste in CSR...

Crop them on your iphone just a tiny bit then send them to your computer and that side ways things goes away

That’s odd, I post pics from my iPhone and iPad all the time and the rotation of the photo in Photos, always matches what I upload. I have seen it where if you take a picture with your phone and you hold the phone parallel to the earth (so camera facing straight down or up) the phone does not know what the orientation is, portrait/landscape, so you end up with a photo potentially sideways in your photo album (sideways according to you anyway). Just open up photos and rotate, and you should be good to go.
