I need to replace my 11 gallon water heater but I'm not too sure how to get the old one out and then get the new one in. The water heater is sitting in front of the engines with no floor access and very Minimal clearance in front of the engines.
Anyone have any suggestions? The current water heater is a Seaward.
I can get some photo's if needed when I go back to the boat this weekend. Just let me know
Any help would greatly be appreciated

Just a WAG but you may have to remove an exhaust manifold (or two) to get the unit past the engines.

Hold on. Is it leaking or did it just stop making hot water? If it's leaking then replace it. If the element has failed then just find a bilge monkey and replace it.

Just replaced mine. Different boat but I had to remove exhaust elbows and hoses on rear of engine (front of engine room). It was not all that difficult. About a 4 hr. job.
