I launched my boat about two weeks ago for an hour shakedown cruise to the marina . Everything ran perfect except my rudder indicator is stuck at 47 degrees to port and won’t change . I tried resetting the sensor through vessel view with no luck . Where is the rudder sensor ? Is it just one wire or a few wires that make the sensor work . Tried looking around the internet and couldn’t get any answers on how they are installed or diagnosed.

I'll take a shot! Granted, it's just a shot. This is from the perspective of my boat, a 420 with twin Cummins, and V-Drives. It may give you an idea of where to look.

Where the rudders come up thru the hull, down in the engine room, they are "tied together" with a mechanical linkage. On mine, there is a bracket that supports the rudder sensor which is mechanically connected to the steering linkage. When the helm moves, the linkage moves, the rudders mover, and hence, the rudder indicator moves too. Perhaps or maybe, the linkage from the Rudder Position sensor has come off thereby giving you the constant 47 degree reading?

Good luck,
