Official 370 Sundancer thread

I believe the forward bilge pump is the one under your salon floor hatch. It is where the shower sump box is, which is probably overflowing and causing your bilge pump to run.

my bilge pumps isn't running just the high water alarm is beeping about every 3-6 minutes or so for the forward bilge. are you referring to the removable panel in the floor by the shower? I opened that and it is bone dry

If anyone gets a chance could you please post a picture of the clips that hold the grill in at the AC discharge in the v-berth. (Rectangular grill located below the starboard side locker, floor level) Mine have somehow come up missing and can't for the life of me remember what they looked like. Better yet, if anyone has ever had to replace these where'd you get um?

Thanks, Carlton

Any idea how to get the covers off the ceiling fixtures in the bathroom to change the light bulbs? I tried twisting and pulling but did not have any luck

Let me know how to get them off too

I am happy to report that we just had our first Florida week of monsoons since I did this, and it is dry as a bone.
I don't know for sure if it was the stanchion (likely) or the fixed portholes, and don't care. It's done.

So at the end of last season I forgot that I had chalked around the railing stantion. And after a similar april/May monsoon season in NJ recently, everything is still dry. Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

Westerbeke generator
At the end of last season I removed the gen (and 1/2 the starboard engine) to have it service over the winter because it stopped running. I labeled all the wires before disconnecting them.
Last week the generator was reinstalled and everything was connected exactly how it was before.

My question is:
before you start the gen, when the on switch is ‘on’ you hear an alarm on the console which is standard. When the gen is started and running the alarm tone is supposed to go off.

So the alarm on the console is not going off when running. The gen has oil, the gen ‘is running light’ is on on the dash where the ‘bilge pimp running’ lights are which is correct.
What other possibilities could it be?

Now carpet and clean up. Oh and a new Stainless Steel front panel for the frig to complete the upgrade.

memories! Looking good. I had left my vertical carpet covering, and used a flextrim piece to complete the step down. What product is this floor?
