5/8” Double Braided Dock lines-where to buy

Just replaced a lot of lines over the past few months. Used the New England (ropes?) from West Marine.
 
I bought my lines from Defender in the past. They are cheaper than West Marine even with their 40% off deal.
 
A local guy just told me about an online place called Top Knot. The lines float I guess. Which makes me wonder are they light and cheap feeling then? Lifetime soft guarantee though. Anyone have experience with them. Made in USA too.
 
I purchased all new blue dock lines from Defender a few weeks ago during their big sale. I always find Defender to be way more competitive that West Marine.

I tried to purchase through top knot however you cannot purchase on-line and they never answer their phone. Always says leave a message.

Yes, I was told that at a West Marine store that they would price match.

Additional item, when we got our boat last fall and was buying a lot of items. If we told them that this purchase was for a "new to us" boat - there is an additional discount.
 
Yes on the West Marine Price Match. Just show them the price to beat either in hard copy or on your phone.

Worked for me.

I had Top Knot make up my tow lines for my Whaler. Two bridles (one for each boat) and two tow lines (75' and 50').

Each came with a nylon bag with a draw string closer and part of the bag was a nylon mesh so the lines could dry.

They are soft, easy to handle, bright yellow with very tough anti-chafe material sewed on.

One of the tow lines we miscommunicated on what connectors I wanted on the ends. I called them, they paid for the return shipping, put on the connectors I wanted and returned it to me. No charge.

Customer service does not get any better than that. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
 
New England lines are top notch lines . West marine will custom make New england lines at at length for u. They will thread them with colors so u can tell at glance how long they are. My travel lines are 12 years . Plenty life left in em.
