2000 searay sundancer 260 full throttle 24mph

I noticed the other day that my boat is a lot slower than a few days ago. 3000 rpm is about 15 to 17 mph. and full throttle is at 23 to 24 mph. I have a 5.7 mercs with dual props. any advice would help.

"5.7 merc"... is that a single engine that you added an 's' to, or do you have twin mercs. Is the "260" in your signature your boat model or the HP of the engines? These things need to be clear on a forum to get the best help.

I'm going to assume it's a 260DA, which means a single engine.

What was it a few days ago? Again, the more info you provide, the better.

You could have something wrapped around your prop/drive... did you physically look at it? Could have electrical issues (tune up) or fuel issues or even major engine issues. Gotta start narrowing down the possibilities - we would only be guessing from where we are. Add more info and we can help better.

Could be a lot of things. Like @Lazy Daze said we need more details but it could be fuel, fuel supply, ignition, distributor, bottom condition or many other things.
