Name dispute, need help...

I think we need a vote button.
I'd say go with whatever the wife wants/chooses, but Haulin' Oats is pretty friggin awesome!
Sharing all my ideas with wife...she may narrow it down and then vote.

Whenever we're considering a boat name I try to envision myself calling in on VHF. That helps to eliminate names that are difficult to say, especially in an emergency.

Good luck!

Out'n aboate = "out in a boat" or "Out and about"

That's it!.. I didnt put this much effort into my own boat name :)

Friends of ours named their boat Hull Pass II. He was a school teacher, then vice principal. Sadly he passed away last fall.

Thanks for the idea. Sorry about your friend. It's the memories we make that are important.

Retired teacher at our yacht club has "SCHOOLIE" for his boats name. BTW he fishes once and a while.

Names have been narrowed. If you would take time to vote on SurveyMonkey as I could not figure out how to embed a survey on this forum...I know some forums have that preset or paid option...Out of 52 potential names, these are the ones that all 4 family members voted on. Thanks in advance for your time and vote!

I personally like your wife’s “Teacher’s Lounge”

I hear radio spots for websites all the time. You'd be amazed how many "clever" names and spellings people come up with for their web sites without a thought in the world about how practical they may be.

The corollary, is you want something you don't have to explain, re-pronounce or spell out over the radio. "Teacher's Lounge" is clear and unambiguous.

Of course everyone in the boating world understands that "not" is really spelled "knot" and "see" is really spelled "sea"

I'll start of with saying thanks for your help! I have plug my bestest friend in the world, his buisness info is in the photo's lol. Hooked me up with the family discount...But the boat has a name!
