While commissioning the 44DA, I noticed the water pressure at the galley and shower were not great. Thought at first it was the feed lines, as they both get service from the same line. Then I thought better. Since the hot and cold have low pressure, it's likely the faucets and not the lines. Sure enough, the aerator on each was clogged from gunk in the fresh water tank being sucked dry during winterization. Even had one faucet act fine, only to clog up the next day. Anyway, shower works fine now, but I still can't seem to get good flow at galley faucet. Screen is clean. Is there another point of clogging inside the faucet anyone knows about before I take this bloody thing apart? Thanks!

That grey rubber spray nozzle unscrews... You can use an adjustable wrench on the flats if your careful... if it won't unscrew by hand...

there is a screen in there behind the black center nozzle

thats the only one i could find. Managed to clean that one. Any others?

Was really hoping not, but I guess that'll be my next spot to test.
Should be easy to get to in the cabinet. Usually just two adjustable wrenches is all thats needed. Could be a dead end as not all of the connections have them.

Yes ..both bathrooms, wash down at swim platform.
Not sure if you cleaned the screen after tank and before the pump?...usually attached to pump.
That's it unless PO added a water filter somewhere.

I usually tell if the system is working right by judging the flow from the cockpit sink.. No filter there.

I mis read your original post... In my year there are no line filters or screens for internal water supply... The main one is at the pump

I do not think there are any inline screens other than the ones in the faucet itself. Did you unscrew the head of the galley faucet? If I remember it is green plastic and stuff will get behind it.

Your blue/red hoses connect under the sink to SS lines. Those connections are small and potentially you have build up there.

The point of blockage on the galley faucet is the quick connect under the cabinet. Their is a one way valve at the connector that clogs up over winter storage.

WOW - so i just had this occur yesterday and here is the solution - mine is doing the same thing!! Thank you all. A second question on this thread - there is small "ice maker" size clear plastic water line that is located under the bar sink and connected to a "realy" anybody know where this goes? Its hard to trace as its encased in wire loom???

I think you are looking at the windshield washer relay.

Thanks guys. I'll take it apart at the red/blue connections and see what I find.

WOW ok so the washer fluid (water) comes straight out of the line that feeds the bar sink? I had no idea.. Thanks alot..
ON that note does anyone know where to get the replacement lines for the wiper arms?
thanks

Get the brand name of the wiper manufacturer their logo is usually stamped right on the wiper.... Most wipers are heavy truck wipers so any on line truck part dealer will sell the kit that includes the hose, clamps and spray nozzle very economically...I think like $6.00 a wiper when I did mine last year.

That little 90 degree part that connects the hose to the boat is far from economical. I think my dealer wanted almost 100 bucks for it. Don't lose yours like I did!

This seemed to be it. Just a little build up in there. Seems much better now. Thanks!

I ran the water on my tank too low and the galley sink and forward shower head had little, or no water pressure.
I cleaned out the galley faucet screens and the entry port to the pull out nozzle and it now works fine, but I can’t figure out the low pressure issue in the shower. I removed the handheld head and there is no pressure from the hose. Is there a filter, or cartridge in the shower body that can clog?

I can tell you there is a cartridge behind the shower. It is accessed from the galley cabinet above your stove. There is a small panel to remove and you will see cartridge and water lines to your shower there.
