OK, it's not terrible, but needs to be addressed. I just splashed yesterday (yay), and today I found a small leak. It's where the swim platform bolts through the transom of the boat. There's a slow but steady leak going into the bilge from the backing plate of the swim platform bolts. I have a short haul scheduled for Monday. Is the fix as simple as loosening the leaky bolt, filling the hole with 5200 and tightening the bolt back up?

Actually, upon further review, that's not were it's leaking from. It's leaking from the rear anchor locker (trunk of the boat) where my dock water hookup is. So this is specific to the 400DB. I'll ask my question in that thread.

I’ll bet it’s the regulator. Just replace it and you’ll be good.

Yep, replace the pressure reducer and the leak will stop!

If you replace the regulator... go one step up (dont remember the psi) to a higher pressure. It makes a world of difference for the faucets and shower... we up graded the fresh water pump as well.

I had a hairline crack in the supply line coming off the regulator years ago. Caused by a kink in the line from a sharp bend in the layout.

'98 like mine, you are going to have those shi**y 15 & 22 mm water connectors throughout the boat... I have replaced 80% of them and carry enough spares to finish off the rest as they fail...

Blueone, do you remember what pump you went to. I am looking at the 5 GPM 60psi jabsco pump, it eliminates the accumulator tank as well.

Let me look for the receipt... I wont be back to the boat until later this week

Here is a pic of the pump. When I installed this... no one wanted shore water hooked up because the regulator was lower pressure than this pump....It’s just a small increase in pressure and gpm but made a big difference ... I ended up changing the shore water regulator as well

I was thinking the same. Bought a new regulator and it turned out to be one of the 15mm T fittings. Cheapest place I’ve found them was Ace Hardware. About half the price of elsewhere I looked.
