Thanks, Dale.
We will miss you, unfortunately. On Saturday, we're running the boat up to Philly for the week. We have work there so why stay in a hotel when we can stay on the boat?

Yes. There is a product out there called Marine Strip for cleaning vinyl upholstery and power cords and such. Stuff is amazing. You have to call to order it. Website is restorationtechnology.biz. I used it on my vinyl on a 2005 42 Sundancer I just bought and the seats look amazing. Give it a shot!
I've been wondering how to clean my white cord, I'll give it a shot thanks BOb,,,,,
great meeting you both in port Jeff at the winter rendevouz,,,,
From the revuews I have read and advice such as this, I dediced to get some of this stuff. Went to the web site where it was listed at 16.95. Then clicked the but it now button that took me to an Itsy site. Not sure why-tried it 3 time to make sure not a mistake. There the price was listed as 18.95 for the same stuff. Then the shipping and handling was over $13. Seriously? I sent a message and they ignored my question about the different prices and said if I bought 2 (1 was more than I need) they would discount the shipping. Even if this stuff works great I don't do business with folks like this.
Marine Strip works great on thing like cords, fenders and vinyl seats. This is all from my own personal use. I would go on the website and see if you can find a local dealer.

Reading this thread so far has cost me $60 bucks....
Lol... No kidding ...I went to Costco today at lunch and then harbor freight after work... Between this thread and those two stops I am down $320 bucks... And all I can do is clean my wire, wash my clothes and fix crap...sorry... lol

Kevin,
You are absolutely correct. I just got off the phone with them and they could not have been nicer. The difference in price is due to the extra charge put on it by Etsy. They are working on having a way to order from their own page. The high shipping is due to the fact that it is a flammable liquid. Makes sense. So I placed an order! Feedback to follow.
View attachment 55036 This this stuff is cheap and cleans power cords without making them sticky. Use it in a well ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
This stuff is not magic its miraculous! Dirt/grime/stains came off easily. Does not leave rubber sticky. Other than color fading from the sun my cable looks new. Coated with Armour All Extra Shine after cleaning which added a nice smooth surface and glossy appearance. Feels like it will be resistant to dirt. I highly recommend this product.

Not an issue for me as my boat is old school. No roll up. I have one set of cables to lay out semi-permanent at the slip and one to carry with me when cruising.Jack - Do you cablemaster? I wonder what the glossy surface would do to the "traction" on the drive rollers...
