Thinking of buying a 2008 Zodiac Yacht line 380 DL with 40 HP Merc EFI. I believe the boat weighs 485 lbs. and the motor 216 lbs. total 701 (less gas and gear) and length 12' 6".
My concern is this dinghy may be pushing the limits of the lift. Any 410 owners out there with this set up? Any issues or tips?

Thank you!

Seems like a lot of weight and length for your boat and platform. While I have not read an exact limit, I have heard the limit for my 460 lift is around 600 lbs. With the outboard tilted up you would be looking at an overall length close to 14 feet or more.

My 410 with a SeaLift is rated for 700lbs. It can lift 1500lb but 700 also accounts or the length of my boat. Over 700 it will really diminish the ride and performance. My center console dingy is 11ft with a 25efi. Around 450lbs. I use slightly more trim to push the bow down during cruise. My fuel burn is the same with or with out the dingy.

Hope that helps.

Okay - I checked with Sea Ray customer support today and the lift is a Nautilus Structures lift and rated for 800 lbs.

Then I checked Nautilus Structures website and they recommend 600 lbs. I guess I will be shopping for an aluminum RIB.
Thanks for the replys!!
