Hadn't been to the boat in about 10 days. Arriving today, there were multiple spots of bird excrement. Power washed it off, but it left an outline of the droppings. Scrubbed with a brush, soap and water - but to no avail.

What are you guys using to remove the baked in residual bird crap?

This stuff is magic. ZERO scrubbing.

I use Roll-Off. Works almost instantly, and doesn't remove wax.

3m flagship cleaner wax. Pretty sure roll off removes the wax.

If you're referring to Roll-Off, I've been using it for about 5 years and it cleans the bird droppings very well and leaves a waxy shine behind. I also use Meguires wash & wax exclusively.

Roll Off is amazing, I use it as well because it removes the diesel build up on the platform. Unfortunately it is a degreaser so it removes the wax. It does leave a shiny finish behind ans says so in the description. I love the product but when I use it I use a quick spray way to get some wax back on the surface.

This works well....it re-applies wax as it removes the stain.....

What you use for washing the boat drives how easy the bird stuff comes off. Most spray on products listed in this thread create more problems than they solve by taking the wax off.

+1 For a good cleaner wax. I prefer 3M personally. Cleans and protects.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses and will give one of these a try.

Nothing more frustrating than to clean the heck outta your boat, and have nasty crap rings remaining.
