8.1 Horizons Replacing Water Pumps and Manifolds

Great idea using the "Kroil", I like it better than PB Blaster, I use Kroil almost daily at work. As far as bolt extractor's, be very careful. Those manifold bolts are only 3/8". Drilling them out you need to dead on in the center, not much room for error. When using the ez-out, go slowly. They are hardened and if you break it off you are not going to be able to drill it out,(been there, done it). Using a lot of Kroil is a good idea. BTW, Napa has a couple of good sets of bolt extractor kits. Good luck, and have patience.

P B Blaster is a good product to spray onto bolts, I think its a lot better than penetrating oil seems to soak in better and work faster.

Yeah, PB would be my first choice but here in Sweden WD40 is all there is...

Maybe i should start to sell PB in Europé :)

Thanks for the tip!

Im using a diffrent kind of extractor that have drill guides for diffrent situations to make sure the hole is dead on the bolt.
