I am purchasing a boat from my Inlaws. Title says it is a searay 175 series br 1998. Last 2 digits of id number are 98. NADA says 97 was last year 175 was made..If you look at 98, no 175....they start at 180.....so bank wont lend since they cannot verify nada? Anyone dealt with this before?

I would say the seller has to straighten it out.

Here in TN we don't even get a title.

I had a 1998/99 180 BR (4 cylinder) w/bench seat, sun pad, and 2 captain swivel chairs. That was one fun boat.
