Cockpit TV

I was looking at that one also. What modifications did you have to make to use ?

-Kevin

Sorry for not clarifying.

To use as is, nothing, just a hole saw and a drill bit for the screws.

I modified mine so I can watch TV while under way. I cut the bottom of the mount off so a 1" rail would could be fitted all the way to the bottom of the cabinet it is mounted in. I also used a 1" rail joining mount to join the ~5' rail and the TV mount post. This way the the TV can be rotated and is also stabilized in rough seas. I have a 40" Samsung mounted on mine, works perfect for me.

I will have to take some better photo's to show what I am talking about. Right now there is another noreaster, our fourth, seems to be a weekly event ...

I'll be down to the boat this weekend. I 'll try and take some that show the mounting.

Yeah, it melts fast this time of year, but lately it's been a weekly event. Another foot in store for today ...

I mounted a 19" (just bought a 24" for this season) on a bracket on the Port side of the Arch. I added a 110v outlet and a coax outlet wired with a splitter from the salon DirecTV box.

Sorry image is sideways, not sure how to fix it. TV mount, coax coupling and 110v outlet with cover:

Can't seem to find a picture with the TV mounted.

I apologize in advance. I know I asked this already, but can't find the answer. Where is the power and coax for the cockpit TV on my 2004 380 Sundancer

Self installed. I suppose you could pay a marina to add it but probably pricey. Not that hard to DIY

Finally splashed her today. Here’s pics of cockpit TV installed. 28” Samsung with a RAM Mount. Takes 30 seconds to loosen and remove if Seas are rough. Mount heavy duty, back of TV not so much.
