A few weeks ago I got an audible alarm from smartccraft saying trim fault. Silenced the alarm and it has not come back. Today while running through some slop I noticed my starboard trim pop up screen appearing and it was increasing trim position. The analog gauge was also moving. I don't think the drive was physically trimming up since the running attitude of the bottom was normal and the engines were synced at around the same rpm. If the drive were trimmed up to position 3 I would have noticed severe cavitation from that drive since my boat seems to only run well with the drives tucked in.
Anyways, what are we thinking here? Trim limit sensors on the drive? Something that can wait until fall haul out?
