40 sedan bridge forum

I was just starting to Google where the senders would be accessed... thanks!
If it turns out to be the sender, it is accessed in the floor of the salon under the starboard sofa. There is a cover over it. Port tank sender access is under the port sofa.

Does anyone know where to order this handle, see pic 1? I'm also looking for the golden colored switch frames, see pic02

No one has it. I looked everywhere. I can't even figure out how to remove it so I can smooth it down and paint it coat it.

I just did the starboard outlet mod on RayO boat. He wanted to keep the same outlets as the rest of the boat so I moved the head outlet to here and put an off the shelf outlet in the head.

FINALLY, after about 80 hours in about a 2 month period on my knees and a million times getting up and down and back and forwards I'm done!!!! Ready for a big cold beverage now, cheers ;)
Wow, beautiful job!!

Has anyone replaced the curtain in the salon that covers the slider? Mine is original and looking that way. I'm looking for a more modern upgrade. What do new boats use? If you've replaced that curtain with something else, can you please post pics and give me some ideas? Thanks.

This is on our list as well, and I look forward to see what you come up with. Ours are in good shape, just filthy. They're probably going to come down this weekend and make a trip to the dry cleaners. I've only looked briefly. Looks like the sliding hooks in the track have to slide out of the end with the track removed?? We're in the process of an interior upgrade as well. Furniture has all been recovered from a 90's green. Still waiting on the starboard side couch.. I recovered the vberth stateroom bolsters myself Tuesday night in my garage after work to reinstall this weekend.

Speaking of our losing the green makeover.. I sourced the fabric for our original bimini top to be rebuilt in Navy blue. Parts are all ordered to be in hopefully tomorrow and then dropped off with a local fabricator. My original factory version is in great shape. It's 20 years old, but has always been under a dock. We just hate the color.. Assuming that our fabricator does not take it completely apart to use the components as templates, does anybody want it? The original has eisenglass zippers. From Searay these are close to $3K. I'm about $450 into fabric, binding, zippers and even thread.
I hope to be $300-$400 for labor and hopefully of the same quality.

My wife is in the process of doing this with the help of a friend that is good with the sewing machine. I think she purchased pre made panels and sewed them together and moved the tabs over from the old curtain. Once she is done I will post the results.

Happy Friday! As I get ready to close (fingers crossed) on a new to me 2002 400DB, I have been looking at all the "projects"....erm..."upgrades" available. I came across this 400 in my search and wondered if anyone here has heard of anyone fashioning a hard top for their 400? The pictures available were not great or detailed, but you get the idea. Here is the link (it looks like it was a very old listing) https://www.hmy.com/used-yachts-for-sale/SEA-RAY/2001-40-400-Sedan-Bridge-FRESH-WATER/106431

Found another one - https://www.hmy.com/used-yachts-for-sale/SEA-RAY/2000-40-400-Sedan-Bridge/241789
