I am strongly considering purchasing an ALBACOMBI. I have all analog gauges and would like to have the added ability to see engine instruments on one of my MFDs. Has anyone else looked into this or another product?

I am about to do it .. I bought the AlbaCombi converter but have not started the process. I am going to wait until I am in the water. I am also installing Floscan... ..so I have my hands full.
There was a thread on here a year or so back and there is a good one on Hull Truth.... I don't have the links handy

I have never seen this version, I was thinking of going with a company called Noland they seem to be cheaper then what you listed but I will read up some more on the Albacombi.

I too looked at the Noland. However, it appears to me that they both do the same thing. The difference being the Albacombi appears to have more input options, instruments and tank gauges, and output options, alarms. I don't know if I will even use them all. I am in the spending mood this week. I just bought four seablaze X lights and this project is next. Appreciate the input and look forward to more.

I used YachtDevices' hookups to get my engine data on my mfd. Simple plug and play with lots of data.

Blue one.... Great links, thank you. It just saved me time and money. As of right now, it looks like the g2 will be the unit of choice. Probable about 3 weeks from that purchase.

Hi Riptide, sorry I saw this a little late. The G2 is absolutely the way to go. The vDash application to set it up is a little tough to get through, but Joe at Chetco will get you through it! He's a great guy and knows his bis. Also feel free to PM me anytime.
