Im looking to update the tv that drops down in the salon. I still have the old school tv with the big silver frame. Probably weighs 100lbs too..

Anyways, I’m sure someone has replaced theirs, what’s biggest size tv that will fit? I searched for a thread but I couldn’t find one

This is what I was going to go with.

Samsung UN24M4500A, 24-inch Smart LED TV, $178

Here are some pictures of the drop down for measurements.

I did the same thing and replaced my OEM with a similar TV, there is a small space at the bottom of the frame from the dimensional difference. I also spray painted the rear panel so that it was black and it really isnt noticeable. I used the same mounting points, just had to modify them slightly. Take a pic after you change it out. Good luck.

Great Lakes. See attached items. I put up a Samsung in the 390DA I owned with some minor rear support work to make it work. Trying to find the exact model I used but width wise, it nearly takes up the entirety of the drop down. As to power, I ended up snaking the power cord behind the paneling to the outlet that feeds the coffee maker.

My exact question. I took old tv down but then realized the new tv needs power...

You can get 120V AC power from the outlet that feeds the coffee maker on the 2005 390DA.

Any suggestions on replacing the tv in the aft seating area? Where is the GFI for that one and how do you access it?

My vessel didn't have a TV in the aft cabin area. I do know there is an outlet on the STBD side & inside the small cabinet area above the aft seating area. Might be able to snake the power cord to there. The other area I know where there is an outlet is to the right of the stair case in the fridge & AC space. Might be able to snake the power cord to there. Lastly, if there is a TV already there, it may have a dedicated outlet of its own installed.

Power outlet is in the ceiling above the TV behind a trim panel. Take out the 12 screws around the perimeter to see it. The coax cable and DVD connections are here, too.
The port wiper motor is also in there for future needs.
