I have the Beam central vacuum system on my 480DB. I cannot figure out how to release the clips that hold the plastic filter cover in place. Can anyone tell me how? Thank you!

They are a challenge. I remember that you press on the side of one clip and with a small screwdriver or something else lift on the clip by prying gently underneath the "bend" at the same time. Just don't break the plastic cover. Once the first one is off, just rotate the cover upwards toward the other clip and it will disengage. You will find a lot of dust beneath it so clean it up, change the foam filter and the clips shouldn't be quite as hard to re-assemble.

Don’t pry the clips! Push down on the black dome that the clips are attached to. When you push down it will release the tension and allow the clips to come out very easily. The foam filter comes with the Beam replacement bags.
