I'm replacing the fixed elliptical port lights in the v-berth, has anyone ever replaced the one hidden by the port closet? How do you get to the ring on the inside? I can feel it through the back wall of the closet.

Is it possible to do without removing the closet? If not, how do you remove the closet?

has anyone considered adding a second set of tabs? I did that upgrade to my 390 and it made such a huge difference. was thinking over the tunnels???

Hi everyone,
Im looking for a wiring diagram for Promariner 25 EX battery charger (3 bank) c.1995 - Searay 330. Construction diagram, not installation please. It still has AC power & hums, has some strange voltages at the posts (greater than 12vdc) but no longer charges. Promariner ceased construction of these units 15+ yrs ago & cant help any further. Anyone got any info/diagrams tucked away?

Don't bother trying to fix it. The newer automatic intelligent chargers are MUCH better and will make your batteries last a lot longer. The Promariner Pronautic P series are great. I installed a 1240P on my boat, but had to upgrade wiring/fuses. A 1230P would have been a direct replace but I wanted more charger power for my golf cart house bank. If you call Promariner they will sell direct and give you a discount. Or you can buy on line from a bunch of places including from BOE marine, a CSR sponsor:

Greetings! No longer a lurker on here, I put a deposit on a 1996 330 'dancer over the weekend! Having it shipped from MD to NJ after survey, mech inspection and sea trial, I can't wait to start digging in to my new (to me) boat! The PO and his predecessor both did a meticulous job taking care of her, as I know I will.

Hi. Im thinking of replacing my cockpit mat with something like Seadek. But I need to do a Template for the company who does the route work. Does anyone have a CAD file over the Cockpit floor for a DA330 95-99 ?

I don´t belive that Sea Dek will send me their file for free so that I can use it on a competitive brand ;-)

They don't give them to you free if you buy from them either. The templates were 35 dollars for the swim platform on mine. I've heard other suppliers can work from Sea Deks templates.

Figured it’s time we get back to the front page. This weekend I officially got all the new LEDs installed in the cockpit.

Also rewired my cabin speakers. The previous owners had cut the leads to them in favor of extra speakers in the cockpit. I installed spade connectors on both ends and now have all the speakers working.

New 330 owner, getting ready to have her delivered from MD to NJ - I'm looking for info on whether or not to install shaft zinc's/anodes. She currently has 2 shaft zinc's on each shaft, but looking around the boatyard, none of the other Sundancers have any shaft zinc's, but they are also newer boats. I did a search and didn't come up with anything. What do you folks do? BTW I have Tides Strong Seals for glands.

I never had shaft zinc's on mine. I believe they are not recommended. As the risk is they may slip down the shaft and restrict water flow into the Cutlass bearing causing it to fail prematurely...

That is what I've head at least.

Doing a few spring projects this year, I feel like I'm in such a rush all boats have to be in the water by April 28 due to the boat shares the parking lot with the restaurant.

So I started installing trim tabs indicators system. Replaced my through hull transducer. I rebuilt the two seawater pumps, the marina said remove the fuel pumps to see if the gear oil is contaminated. I have mechanical fuel pumps that run of the same belt for water pumps. so when I opened them both up the stunk of fuel so I had to replace those pumps. hoping to get it all installed tonight.

happy spring everyone
