Anyone ever replace their worn out Raytheon decals on their radar scanner? I'm having a hard time finding a company that can duplicate.

Take a picture and measurements
A vinyl lettering company should be able to make close copies

Midexp, I was going through the same thing in 16', never did find them. I'm thinking I was probably going to have to get them made. Here's an idea that I thought of during the process. If you have to have them made anyway, why not put your name there. I'm probably going to have a "BOTTOMS UP" sticker made for mine. Just a thought......

You can send this pic to most vinyl sign people ...tell them the height and keep same aspect and they can make it from that

Look up "Raytheon logo" on the Internet if you want something different

Do a search on brandsoftheworld.com for Raytheon...you can download a vector file that can then be brought to any sign shop and they can take it from there.

I can make them for you I duplicate logos all the time.

It's been at least 5 years now that I contacted Raytheon to get new decals for my (Raymarine) radar. They sent me a pair of them, no charge.
Again...a while ago so wonder if they would still provide the same today.
Might be worth a try.

I got new Raymarine decals for my open array scanner last year directly from Raymarine - and they were free, including shipping. I had the scanner bar removed and sprayed white again with awlgrip. The new paint and decals made it look brand new. You probably can’t get Raytheon decals after this many years, but ask them when you call. Otherwise maybe just replace with the Raymarine decal unless you’re bent on Raytheon.

I read that someone called Raytheon for the decals and they were told the Raytheon decal was no longer available and that person should upgrade his electronics to Raymarine if they're that old.

Yes I have contacted vinyl graphic places and know they can do them. But they have to match the font. Just was hoping someone had them made and could confirm they were exact or close to original.
Thanks

I think I will do this.

OK what would the approximate cost be?

Thanks
How many do you need? If you get me some good dimensions of the current one, length and height your looking at maybe 15 to 20 bucks if you install them.. Your local to me so we can just meet and no shipping. I throw stuff like this in while I am cutting other things.

I had the local boat name guy do ours years ago and they came out perfect. He worked my measurements and was able to duplicate the font. Good luck!

Thanks all. Krazzeeddie, thanks, that's very reasonable. What I did was order the $5 one online. I believe it's a bit smaller than the one on the radar. If I don't like it, I'll get with you and give it to you as a sample to make the correct size.
