Just got a call from my mechanic, he has completed my winter service and this year, it included service for 1000 hrs.
Awaiting the invoice.............
I haven't been down to the boat for a while (in storage for the winter), and couldn't check my hour meters but knew I was close to 1000 hrs (or slightly over). He told me that the mains have 1001 hrs. Pretty close, considering it is a 1 hour ride from our home port to where we winter store.

Cost was just over 6 boat bucks.
 
At 1000 hours my C-18s needed the aftercoolers removed and inspected (and cleaned). Is that not part of the 1000 hour service on a 3196?
 
Yes, cleaning and pressure testing aftercoolers IS the 1000 hour service on a 3196. At that price, I assume they got done. Is it listed on another page?
 
Wow, was this a CAT dealer? I just had most of that list done, with the exception of Valve and injector adjustment if needed and I have not changed the raw water pump impellers yet, for $1200 plus materials I bought and had on hand - $800-$900?
