any one have the performance specs for an ‘05 420 sedan bridge? Trying to figure out the rangea at various speeds

From what I understand - look at your owners / operators manual for the fuel burn vs RPM table. That will remain constant. So if you would burn 22 gallons per hour at a given RPM - that remains constant. The variables are how heavily loaded are you? What is the weather / waves like. Those will affect the speed but not the fuel burn per hour. Sped will affect to over time enroute which will affect the total fuel usage.

Per the specs on my Cat 3116 (350 hp) at 2400 rpm I will be burning 11.3 gallons per engine per hour. That will remain constant.

Now if I am in rough or head seas, my speed may be reduced - hence I will have a longer trip burning the 22.6 gallons per hour. On the flip side, with calm following seas my trip time may be reduced as the speed picks up but I still will be at 22.6 gallons per hour.

I have a 2000 400 (40') Sedan Bridge with the Cat 3116TA engines. I will making a 140 nm trip in May bringing her home.
