Hi all, Can someone help me please. I have a Sea Ray 360 Sundancer (395 European spec) year 2002. On the main control station, at the helm, there is a red 'Engine Sync Switch' with an off, auto and on position. It has battery symbols at the top and bottom on the switch. It is located near to the engine start switches.

I have looked in the manual to find out what this switch does but there is nothing I could find. Can anyone help me with what this switch does please. It's probably a stupid question but I can't seem to find the answer in the owners manual.

Looks like someone put a battery switch in the spot Sea Ray designated as for a switch to turn on an engine synchronizer, IF the boat was so equipped. That was an option. Guessing you don't have that option so the previous owner used the spot for an aftermarket switch of some sort.

When an engine synchronizer is engaged (switched on), you can control engine speed with one throttle and the synchronizer will keep the engines in synch as you throttle up and down. One lever controls both engines.
