I have a 2000 Sea Ray 340 with two 7.4 engines. I went out yesterday and as soon as I got to 2,200 RPM a buzzer went off near the instrument panel. As soon as I went under 2,200 RPM it stopped. I tried again and as soon I reached 2,200 RPM it went off again. I cruised around at 2,000 for several hours and everything was fine. I found out that it was due to the starboard engine. Engine temperature and oil pressure were normal.

I would appreciate any suggestions on what it could be.

Thanks.

Have you looked at your drive? I've never had V-drives but have read they have a temp sensor that can trip the buzzer.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do have v-drives but I have no idea how to check if this is the issue.
I hope some expert will explain.

2000 should be a very basic limited system.
Overheat
low oil pressure
low drive fluid

Alarm for all 3 is triggered through a ground wire.
locate all 3 of these locations and disconnect them 1 at a time while in the alarm mode.

Under the helm/dash by your key/toggle switch. You hunt that if it's not going off, not if it is.
