Boat Info
270 Sundancer Diesel 1997
Engines
Yanmar Turbo Diesel 6LPA-DTZP
1997 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer.
$34900.

250hp Yanmar Diesel 110Hrs.
5kw Westerbeke Diesel Generator. 575Hrs.

Bought the boat last year from original owner with 60hrs on the engine. Kept on freshwater lake in North Texas.

Attempting to sell without a broker to keep cost down. I may negotiate price depending on cost of survey, shipping, taxes etc. 1997 Sea Ray Sundancer 270 with 250HP 6 Cylinder Yanmar Turbo DIESEL I/0 with 109hrs. Model: 6LPA-DTZP Triple axle trailer. Westerbeke 5kW DIESEL generator with about 570hrs. 100 gallon fuel tank. A/C will run on shore power or generator. Microwave, refrigerator, stovetop will all run on either generator or shore power. Bottom paint. Sleeps 4 adults. Vacuum toilet. Shower. 2 sinks. 2 tables. Upholstery in great condition. No tears. Lots of other features. Marine survey done last summer rates this boat in "ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION", has had above average care and is equipped with extra electrical and electronic gear. Any questions or additional photos just request and I will get them for you. Amazing boat that doesn't get used to its full potential on fresh water lake.

Quote from surveyor:
SUMMARY OF BOAT
This Express Cruiser Appears to be Suitable for its intended purpose of Pleasure Cruising on Inland Waters. The interior is original, in good condition, comfortable and designed to sleep four. This boat is equip with all factory options available at the time. The bimini & cockpit canvas with its isinglass appear to be newer. When the boat was sold new in Houston, TX by Louis DelHolm Marine, the boat had the MerCruiser 5.7 Ltr gasoline engine installed. To our understanding, in 1998 the owner had the engine removed and a Yanmar diesel engine & diesel generator installed, which, was an option, offered by Sea Ray Boats, Inc. at that time. The approximate cost (of the engine) in 1998 would have been $20,000.00. The approximate cost (of the engine) in 2016 would be $35,000.00

Cool boat, good luck. Just out of pure curiosity I'd love to hear some numbers around cruise rpm, fuel mileage, etc. Diesels in these smaller cruisers is very rare around here and is interesting to me

RPM vs Speed.jpg

Took it out yesterday. These are our numbers with 2 adults and a child.

I'll bet you have to closely watch the marina pump jockeys to prevent gasoline being pumped in every time. Neat though.

I've only fueled it up once on the water. They were really confused when I pulled up to the diesel pump.

Correction on the Yanmar model. 6LPA-DTZP.

Pics out of the water.

New price. $29,900!

The boat is on the water at Lake Lewisville, North of Dallas Tx. It comes with the triple axle trailer in the pictures. It stays on the lake and I only take it out of the water for maintenance so I do it with our 2011 Expedition. I wouldn't feel good pulling any distance with it. Really need a 3/4 ton.
