Great question as I am about to do the same.......
thanks

From what I understand it is "suppose" to be simply plug and replace. Hope all goes well for you. I am trying to get mine swapped out this week.

I swapped mine a few years ago and it was plug and play.

did you need any additional connectors, relays, or wiring?

Hey there who is doing your swap out? I am to the point of flying someone in to design and then build the system.
thanks

I would have to look back at my records for sure but I believe there were no additional connectors needed. It plugged directly into the black box that the SC5000 was plugged into.

I don't know if this applies to your SC5000 installation however my 52DB with Mercury Cummins QSM11's was upgraded with a Vesselview 7 from Dieselview. It is plug and play (pretty much) but the SIM module had to be a later revision to work. The message is to verify your existing equipment firmware revisions are compatible.

What was the approximate cost of the swap, labor included? My screens are now but unreadable and I’ve got to deal with it.
Thanks
