Can anyone tell me what this thing is on my hardtop? It’s about 3-4” square and about 1” high, mounted close to the aft edge of the hardtop on the centerline of the boat behind the radar dome. I assume it’s some kind of sensor or antenna, but I don’t know what for. I don’t have the Sirius radio option on the boat, at least it’s not listed on the build sheet, and Sea Ray doesn’t know what it is. Thanks in advance.

My best guess is a port to be able to install an anchor light on a post. I've seen pictures of similar models with lights extending up about 2' from the rear, center of the hardtop.

Are there no markings on the top side? I suppose they could be faded, but that sure does look like a Sirius antenna (which I think were made by Shakespeare if you wanted to google and compare a picture). Have you owned the boat since new? It's possible it was installed after the boat was delivered. Is there a Sirius cable plugged into your radio?

It's some type of Satellite antenna... GPS/Sirius...etc

Thanks everyone. We just bought the boat last year. I haven’t climbed up close to it to see if it has any markings. I checked web pages of the various manufacturers of GPS and satellaite radio antennas (Shakespeare, Glomex, Digital) and I have not seen anything that looks like this, all the ones I have seen are round.

You're welcome. If it's not that, then it might be one of those Chinese tracking devices.

Hi,
Can you access the area on the inside of your he hardtop, usually there are lights. Take the light out and look for wires that would attached to it. It looks like a satellite radio antenna.
