Has anyone had to replace the top sliding cabin door hardware on a EC400,1995. Mine has jumped track and needs new hardware, also need help to find parts. Sea Ray say you have to replace all track, slides etc., expensive.

I had to replace the lower track on my sliding door. To do it I called a local glass shop. It took them about 2 hours to take it all apart, replace the track and get it back together. I think the cost was somewhere around $150 IIRC.

The tracks have various nuances over the model years so there's not a single answer. Suffice it to say, some doors are pretty easy and some are a royal PIA. I had to replace the trucks (wheels) on the door on my 2008 280DA and it wasn't easy but it wasn't horrible. If you do a search, you will find some situations where the entire helm needs to be removed to fix the track and trucks.

flounder pounder .com will most likly have what you need

I have a 1995 400EC and went through this (mention in the “Official 400EC” thread).

The trucks and track available from several sources are a different size than you need..
The trucks you need is no longer made and are smaller than the newer ones available. The tracks should be OK.

Idea!
Find someone with a Digital printer that can make you the parts you need.
