Hi Club Sea Ray Forum,

i introduced mysel allready in the Forum, but i try to give you an idea where i do boating.
I hope YouTube links are allowed, if not please delete it

This is the marina where we stay with our sea ray 290 sundancer:
Lignano / Italy

and this is the area where i stay most of the time:

only some impressions
Ciao
Mario

Pretty neat marina.......

I would hate to be docked the furthest from the opening....... looks like you'd spend 1/2 the day just trying to get out to the channel.

Hi all

i stay with my boat directly infront of our Holiday House
you see that in Video at arround 1:30.........ist quite in the back of the marina
yes it needs arrounnd 1 hour to be at the sea because your only allowed to go 6 knots in the channel
in croatia they use Mooring lines most of the time in italy ist different
Please excuse my english

Ciao
Mario

Wow, no wonder my brother in law and his wife like to vacation there.

I have a question: In that last video, what is that thing that's moving through the water at about 3:00 in the video?

Hi
in the last Video at 3:00 this is a Waterskilift.......i dont know how i should discribe.
Ciao
Mario

Welcome and thank you for sharing the videos. Simply beautiful waters. We were in Vienna briefly when we stayed in Garmisch Partenkirchen for a long weekend when we visited Germany.

Enjoy the 290! Your villa combined with the slip looks beautiful.

Take Care!

Garmisch is not far away from my home town...
Thank you all for the warm welcome

Mario

Welcome Mario.....stunning area you boat. After watching the second video - I'm ready for a vacation!!!

Beautiful...

Thank you for the beautiful videos. I sometimes wondered what marinas looked like across the pond. I'm curious what are the thin lines floating just offshore in many off the areas. Are they nettings or booms of some sort?

Hi
sorry i do not understand what that means?

Very impressive !!

Hi
jep.... fuel ist an extra stry it costs between 1,50€ up to 2€ per Liter.
What ars Slips? is this a point where you bring a boat in the water or is this the place in the marina where your boat stays..
Sry that i have to ask

A slip is the same as moorage place or berth. It is the place you keep your boat when it is in the water. In North America we mostly rent them by the year. Fuel in Canada is about 1 Euro per liter in the US it is about 3/4 a Euro.

a ok thx...
you can buy it or rent it.........both is possible....
Cheers mario

Ciao Mario, I would love to spend some time in Croatia this year. You are going to love your Sea Ray. My Sea Ray 340 Express Cruiser has finally been transported to Daytona Beach Florida where, hopefully, I will be able to spend some time on her this winter. I used to sail in the Mediterranean in the 1970s Sardinia, out of Puerto Cervo. Now I turn the ignition key to my Sea Ray and get a gale force wind. I am stuck in Bristol England for at least another week due to family obligations. All the best and welcome to the Club⚓
