Homemade remote start for Westerbeke

Yes. I swapped the other bottle back. The module only controls the starting side not the electrical output.

I’m now wondering if maybe it is a capacitor issue.

I know this is something you probably did immediately, but there are 2 breakers switches on the starboard side of my gen and difficult to see if you don't they are there. Early on I popped both and thought I was buying a new gennie... I didn't know they existed.

Well I feel like a fool now. After talking with Northshore, he made me realize that I didn’t adequately evaluate the actual switch at the panel.

This afternoon I pulled a switch from the engine and swapped it in the panel for the generator. Guess what.... that dang thing works like a champ.

Now on to my new issue - no AC output from my generator. I pulled the breaker box apart and am getting 2.4 volts to the beaker.

Any thoughts?
